SNL rings in the new year on January 19 with Jennifer Lawrence and The Lumineers, both making their SNL debut. The Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated actress can currently be seen in the Golden Globe nominated "Silver Linings Playbook." Lawrence's past credits include the starring role in the film adaptation of "The Hunger Games," "Winter's Bone," and "X-Men: First Class."
The Lumineers received two 2013 Grammy Award nominations for Best New Artist and Best Americana album. Their hit single, "Ho Hey," off of their self-titled debut album reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and went double platinum, while the album has been certified gold in the U.S., Canada and Ireland.
Adam Levine will make his hosting debut on January 26. Levine currently stars as a musician coach on NBC's hit show "The Voice" and is the front man and guitarist for the multiple Grammy Award-winning recording group, Maroon 5.
Hip hop artist Kendrick Lamar's album "good kid, m.A.A.d city," was released October 22, 2012 to universal acclaim, and debuted atop the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart and at number two on the Billboard 200. His album went gold and sold more copies in its first week than any other debut album in 2012.
"Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
