VERONICA MARS alum Jason Dohring is headed back to The CW.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Dohring, who just wrapped filming on the MARS movie, has been tapped for a guest starring role on the network's upcoming sci-fi project THE TOMORROW PEOPLE.

The series, which stars Robbie Amell, follows a generation of humans born with paranormal abilities - the Tomorrow People. Stephen Jameson (Amell) stands at the crossroads between the world we know and the shifting world of the future.

Dohring will play former operative Killian McCrane, and colleague of John (Luke Mitchell) at the paramilitary group Ultra - who's now out for revenge.

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE is set to premiere on October 9.
