Jamie Lee Curtis to Host HFPA Grants Banquet

Jamie Lee Curtis has been named host of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's (HFPA) Annual Grants Banquet at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on Aug. 4, the HFPA announced today. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christian Slater, Emma Stone, Gina Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Joanne Frogatt, Justin Timberlake, Mandy Moore, Mel Gibson, Milo Ventimiglia, Nate Parker, Renee Zellweger, Simon Helberg, Vince Vaughn, and Warren Beatty will present the grants.

The HFPA will grant more than $2 million in funds to non-profit entertainment-related organizations and scholarship programs. Thus far, the HFPA has committed more than $25 million in grants, handed out over 1,500 scholarships, and restored more than 90 films. Contributions made by the HFPA will aid a wide range of projects, including the preservation of films, higher education, training and mentoring, and the promotion of cultural exchange through cinema.
