EWonline reports that an unnamed source at NBC has confirmed to the New York Post that longtime SNL funnyman Fred Armisen will leave the long-running show after Saturday night's Season Finale. The comic has appeared on the sketch comedy series for the past 11 seasons.

In addition, the same source reveals to The Post that Armisen's castmate, Jason Sudeikis will "probably" leave the show as well this year. The network has not commented on the report and representatives for both Armisen and Sudeikis have not responded to questions from the site.

Armisen currently stars on his own sketch series, IFC's Portlandia, which premiered in 2010. Sudeikis has teased an Exit from the show since last season. If both SNL vets confirm their departures, they will join fellow cast members Bill Hader, who announced his Exit earlier this week and SNL head writer and Weekend Update anchor Seth Meyers, who next year will host his own late night talk show on the peacock network.
