Famed 'gangster' Bennett' is headed to FX.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, WILFRED's Randall Einhorn and FX are set to adapt Mac Lethal's novel TEXTS FROM BENNETT for television.

TEXTS FROM BENNETT "centers on the peculiar 'white ghetto' sensibility of Lethal's cousin Bennett's texts. In the FX odd-couple comedy, rapper Mac Lethal has a problem -- his cousin Bennett, a 17-year-old white kid who claims to be a 13 percent black Crip who enjoys more than recreational level drug use and can't keep a job. When Bennett and his pill-popping mother lose their house, Mac offers to let them stay with him and his WASPy girlfriend, Harper, at his suburban home in Kansas City."
