FROZEN to Air on Disney Channel; Josh Gad to Voice Olaf on SOFIA THE FIRST

For the first time ever, Disney's FROZEN will be presented on Disney Channel, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14 (7:00 p.m. EST). From Walt Disney Animation Studios, "Frozen" is the highest grossing animated feature film ever and has won multiple awards including two Academy Awards®, a Golden Globe® and two Grammy® Awards.

Fan favorite Olaf then makes a special appearance on the hit series for kids age 2-7, "Sofia the First," MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15 (11:30 a.m. EST on Disney Channel and 7:00 p.m. EST on Disney Junior). The episode will be available on WATCHDisneyJunior.com and THE WATCH Disney Junior app beginning Monday, February 8.

Josh Gad is THE VOICE of Olaf in the story titled "The Secret Library: Olaf and the Tale of Miss Nettle," the second episode of a four-part story arc. Megan Mullally returns as THE VOICE of Miss Nettle, a role for which she received an Emmy Award nomination earlier this year. Eric Stonestreet and Hugh Bonneville recur as Sofia's flying horse Minimus and the Narrator, respectively.

On February 2, Disney Publishing Worldwide will release an illustrated storybook and e-book based on the episode.

Disney Junior's Emmy Award-nominated "Sofia the First" is the all-time record holder for the top three cable TV telecasts ever and TV's #1 series in Girls 2-5 for three straight years. The series stars Ariel Winter as Sofia, Sara Ramirez as Queen Miranda, Wayne Brady as Clover, and Tim Gunn as Baileywick. "Sofia the First" is executive-produced by Jamie Mitchell and Craig Gerber and is a production of Disney Television Animation.

Topping the National Retail Federation's 2014 Hot Holiday Toys survey, "Frozen" product popularity continues to soar: More than 3 million role-play dresses have been sold in NORTH AMERICA alone; "Frozen: The Junior Novelization" spent more than 40 weeks on the New York Times best sellers list; and the "Disney Karaoke: Frozen" app peaked at No. 1 on the iPad Entertainment Downloads category in more than 100 countries. "Frozen" also took home the prestigious 2015 Property of the Year award during the Toy Industry Association's annual Toy of the Year Awards. Fans have spent 42 billion minutes playing the "Frozen Free Fall" mobile game, and the film also inspired a Code.org initiative to encourage people to learn how to code. The adventures of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven continued in "Frozen Fever," a Walt Disney Animation Studios short film created by the original "Frozen" team, which debuted in theaters in March 2015.
