The 2016 T-Mobile Home Run Derby will air Monday, July 11, at 8 p.m. ET exclusively on ESPN from Petco Park - home of the San Diego Padres. The T-Mobile Home Run Derby will also be available on WatchESPN, ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes. It is part of ESPN's multi-platform coverage of MLB All-Star.
Eight commentators will combine for ESPN's T-Mobile Home Run Derby coverage, led by a new main set on the field, featuring SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL analysts Jessica Mendoza and Aaron Boone. The Sunday duo will join veteran Home Run Derby voice Chris Berman. Mendoza continues to break new sports media ground, as she will become the first female analyst for a Home Run Derby telecast. The Baseball Tonight presented by T-Mobile team - Karl Ravech, Dallas Braden, Tim Kurkjian and Eduardo Perez - will contribute commentary from a second set inside the stadium. Pedro Gomez, who will serve as a sideline reporter, will round out the team. ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney will contribute to Baseball Tonight pre-game shows. ESPN will utilize several productions methods designed to capture unique vantage points during the event, including the use of a Phantom 4K ultra-high-speed camera (as used on Sunday Night Baseball), and the 360-degree replay technology from Intel. ESPN will also deploy five robotic cameras, including a Super Slo-Mo placed in front of the hitter.ESPN's July 11 Home Run Derby schedule
