According to The Hollywood Reporter, Donald Trump has reversed the decision to ban transsexual beauty pageant contestant Jenna Talackova from competing in the 'Miss Universe Canada' Competition.

The 23-year-old was recently disqualified from the competition because she was born male. However yesterday, The Trump Organization, owner of the Miss Universe Canada contest, announced that the beauty queen will have the opportunity to compete for the crown. The winner of the competition advances to the Trump-owned 'Miss Universe' pageant.

Michael D. Cohen, executive vice president and special counsel to Trump said in a statement, "The Miss Universe Organization will allow Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions."

On Friday, the Miss Universe Organization explained their justification for disqualifying Talackova, commenting, "Jenna falsified her application when she said she was born female." After the announcement was made, Talackova hired famed attorney Gloria Allred to represent her. Allred soon after called a press conference scheduled for today to address the issue and explain what, if any, legal action would be taken if she did not receive permission to compete.
