Caitlyn Jenner to Receive 'Arthur Ashe Courage Award' at 2015 ESPY AWARDS

TMZ reports that Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) will make her debut appearance at a public event at this year's ESPY awards.

According to the report, the Olympic gold medal winner will recieve the ARTHUR Ashe Courage Award, considered one of the highest honors in sports. Previous recipients have included Muhammad Ali, Stuart Scott, Jim Valvano, Robin Roberts Nelson Mandela and Michael Sam.

According to ESPN, the award is given to "those who truly personify the spirit of tennis great ARTHUR Ashe -- someone who shows "strength in the face of adversity, courage in the face of peril and the willingness to stand up for their beliefs no matter what the cost."

The Espys will take place in Los Angeles on July 15th. Jenner is expected to accept the award with her 10 children and step-children at her side on stage.
