CBS EVENING NEWS Posts Season-to-Date % Gains in Viewers

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted season-to-date percentage gains in viewers (+2%, 7.59m from 7.41m) compared to last season, according to Nielsen most current ratings. Season-to-date, the CBS broadcast gained +180,000 viewers compared to last season.

In adults 25-54 - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news - the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY maintained its rating (1.5/06) compared to last season.

For the week ending Feb. 19, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY scored a 1.5/06 in adults 25-54 with 7.33m viewers according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. On last week's broadcasts, Pelley interviewed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas; a team of correspondents covered the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and the future of the court; and Manuel Bojorquez reported on the dangerous journey of migrants through Mexico to the United States.
