ABC's hit reality competition show DANCING WITH THE STARS premiered its 19th season last night with a bang, and tonight was the first elimination round. Now I'm recapping this show as it happens, so before it is revealed, my guess for the couple up for elimination is Lolo Jones and her partner Keo.

I'd hate to see her partner go because this is his first DWTS season, but between Jones' stiff moves and sour attitude through the night, she is my pick to go home.

The show started off with a fantastic performance of Fifth Harmony's "BO$$" choreographed by Mandy Moore. Yeah, you read that right. DWTS' is no longer just mining SYTYCD's dancers, but now their choreographers as well.

After the first, of what I assume will be many highlights packages of the night, we found out that Betsey Johnson is in Jeopardy of going home, and although I understood why, (especially because of last night's feather boa fiasco) the woman can do splits...AT 72 YEARS OLD?!?! And she looked so sad when it was announced that she was in jeopardy.

The encore dance went to Alfonso Ribeiro and his partner Whitney Carson, which came as no surprise to me because their dance last night was spectacular. If you haven't seen it yet, you really need to, so click here.

Another highlight package left Michael Waltrip in the same boat as Ms. Johnson. This was a bit unexpected because his dancing last night was fine and he was charismatic. Hoping he doesn't leave!

Can we just take a moment to take in the Smokey Robinson and Aloe Black duet that occurred tonight? My goodness, "My Girl" was already one of my all-time favorite Motown classics, but their beautiful rendition gave me chills the entire time. Stunning performance. Mark and Whitney were wonderful as well.

[Insert yet another highlights package] Lea and Artem were sent to the Land of Jeopardy, which is a shame, because I thought they were really good.

To welcome the three new dancers Allison, Keo and Artem, they received their own showcase number. I'm genuinely excited for what this new crop of dancers has to offer. As a special treat, keeping with the theme of first-time dancers, we also were given a glimpse of Derek Hough's DANCING WITH THE STARS audition tape.

The last highlight package of the night occurred, giving the last "in jeopardy" spot to Lolo and Keo.

The four couples in jeopardy dwindled to the bottom two who were Lolo Jones and Betsey Johnson. On this first week of competition, the first couple eliminated was...Lolo Jones with her partner Keo. I really didn't want to be right, because I thought Keo was an excellent addition to the show, but America has spoken.

Tune in next Monday when the couples dance to the songs they've deemed their "Jams." Something tells me their jams aren't "King of New York," "Popular," or "Magic to Do"... those are my jams. Until next week!
