After last week's final moments when Annalise Keating dropped the bombshell question on her cheating (and soon to be murdered) husband, this week other fireworks went off. The Keating's continue to argue about the alleged affair with a coed. Her law firm defends a minor accused of shooting his police officer father. And throughout the episode, in flash forwards, we see more of the relationship between Annalise's staff member Frank and Laurel, one of the eager law students.

Let's dive right in, shall we?

On bonfire night, we see Laurel get a phone call from Frank and the others students freak out. She admits to sleeping with him but not sharing any information. Flashing back to Middletown Law School and Keating's Criminal Law 100 class, Annalise and Laurel are having discussion in class.

Last episode, Annalise looked at Sam and asked, "Why is your penis on a dead girl's phone?" Picking up where that moment left off, she continues to grill him. "I know your were screwing her," and how long did it go on for, she asks. Just the summer, he admits, at least six or seven times. He was afraid Annalise would think he hurt Lila, he says she was lost. We learn Annalise is his second wife and she explodes with emotion and kicks him out. Bonnie overhears the heated exchange. Wes and Annalise talk about what to do with the phone that contains the incrimination photos.

Next, we meet a young man named Ryan as he recounts the details of his case to Keating and her firm. They have been hired to defend the teenager. Ryan tells them he shot his dad to stop the drinking and abuse the family suffered. Ryan's father was a cop, so the case may be a tough one for the defense. Flipping back and forth between the law class and the jury selection, we learn Keating's philosophy on picking the right jury members, the twelve complete strangers who will make or break the case. As soon as the case begins, the prosecution makes things difficult for the defense by having the mother's testimony about the abuse thrown out.

Bonnie preps each of the law students on tracking the members of the jury while Annalise mentions they can still introduce the alleged abuse if a witness mentions it on the stand. Amazingly, her plan works. At Wes's apartment, Rebecca comes over and talks about the special phone. She playfully flirts and admits she likes to make people feel uncomfortable. We see Annalise drowning her sorrows in liquor and avoiding Sam's phone calls. She meets with Det. Lahey who is upset he was fired from his job, blaming Annalise. (It was really Bonnie who tipped off the cops to Lahey's stalking Sam.) It appears the affair is over and Annalise is left alone on the streets of Philadelphia.

In another flash forward, Laurel finally answers Frank's persistent phone calls. She lies and says she is at the bonfire, he begs for them to make up, clearly smitten with the sexy wannabe lawyer. Back during the case, Laurel and her boyfriend discuss jury tampering in the law library. Annalise confronts Bonnie Lahey's dismissal from the police force and then summarily dismisses her.

Back in the courtroom, witnesses continue to be questioned, as the law students discuss the various jurors. While they work on the case, Connor is multi-sexting a number of potential men. His sexting actually pays off for the defense: he gets one of the biased jurors dismissed. Laurel, meanwhile, begins having more talks with Frank. Ryan's mother takes the stand and testifies the abuse she and her family suffered at the hands of her policeman husband. The prosecution turns the testimony around, of course, as the trial proceeds.

Flashing forward, Michaela is overwrought at losing her engagement ring in the woods. When we flash back, Annalise and the prosecutor are presenting their closing arguments to the jury. The law students offer their best guess as to how the case will go. In the library, Laurel says goodbye to her boyfriend and sneaks off to the courtroom to plant a paper about jury nullification for one of the jury members to find. Frank catches her red-handed, and takes the news to Annalise and she says they need to tell the D.A. the jury has been tampered with.

In court, the judge questions the jury and they admit to the nullification. A mistrial is declared and the teenager's case will be tried in juvenile court. Later that night, Sam returns home to Annalise. He admits he was in Philly when Lila was killed, but he was looking for her to make sure she didn't hurt herself. It's a thin alibi, but he maintains he did not kill Lila. Rebecca and Wes come by the office so Sam can give her a standard psychological test to assist the case. Lila was a spoiled sorority girl who dealt drugs, says Rebecca, and Lila left the phone in the bar. Lila talked to Rebecca about a "Mr. Darcy," her married, middle aged lover. He questions her about the phone in more detail and it is clear Rebecca doesn't know the true identity of Lila's man. Before leaving the Keating's home/office, Rebecca asks to use the bathroom and Wes points to the one upstairs. Once they leave, Annalise makes it clear she is still not ready to forgive Sam, calls him a liar and tells him to sleep on the couch.

One more flashback for the night brings Laurel to Frank's doorstep. Laurel asks Frank if he was serious about saying he would do anything for her. He concurs and she pulls out of her bag the Lady Justice statuette, apparently the weapon used to kill Sam. It appears she wants him to help clean it or hide it, but before we find out, the scene flashes back to the moments after the mistrial. Frank and Laurel begin to make out until she abruptly breaks the dalliance off, rushing out saying, "I have a boyfriend." She arrives home to greet her boyfriend and they get right down to business.

This week's closing moments show Wesley finding Rebecca's apartment door open and empty. He calls her and she says they cannot trust Annalise anymore. "Check the wallpaper," she tells him. The light dawns for Wes and he sneaks in to the Keating home. Annalise opens her bathroom door and finds Wesley. He points out the wallpaper is the same as the background of the sexting photo of Lila's lover. Wesley confronts Annalise with this week's final words: "Sam is Mr. Darcy!"

We are sure to find even more revelations next Thursday night at 10 pm (Eastern). What did you think of this week's episode? Let us know!
