ABC was Monday's most-watched network overall (5.7 million) and also led the night with key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). ABC's "The Bachelorette" was Monday's No. 1 TV show in Total Viewers (topping CBS' "Under the Dome" for the first time ever) and across the Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).

"The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 6.8 million and 1.8/6 in AD18-49):
From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" ranked No. 1 in its 2-hour time period among Total Viewers (6.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.8/6-tie). In fact, the ABC unscripted series was No. 1 in its slot for its 8th consecutive 2-hour Monday telecast in viewers.

• Rising 6% in Adults 18-49, "The Bachelorette" equaled a best-since-premiere rating (9 weeks ago) - since 5/19/14.

• "The Bachelorette" was the No. 1 most-social broadcast series on Monday night for the 6th straight week (69,753 tweets).

"Mistresses" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.6 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):
During the 10:00 p.m. hour, ABC's "Mistresses" was up 1-tenth from its week-ago preliminary Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating and held steady with its National number (1.0/3).

• ABC's "Mistresses" is seeing strong gains via TV playback, ranking among the Top 10 (No. 7) summer broadcast series. On average, the ABC sophomore drama jumps 60% in Adults 18-49 from the preliminary Live + Same Day ratings to Live + 7 Day ratings (from a 1.0 to a 1.6). In addition, the program adds 1.3 million Total Viewers to its average from L+SD to L7.

A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 49% currently, from 47% at the same point in 2013. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
