tonight's broadcast

Tonight, NBC will present its annual CHRISTMAS IN ROCKEFELLER CENTER holiday special, featuring performances by THE GREAT COMET OF 1812's Josh Groban, along with Anthony Hamilton & The HamilTones, The Roots, JorDan Smith and many more. The broadcast airs from 8-9 p.m. tonight on NBC. (7-9 p.m. on select NBC stations; check local listings).

The arrival of the holidays wouldn't be complete without a dazzling display of musical talent and the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree, live from Rockefeller Center in New York City and hosted by "Today" anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Hoda Kotb.

The star-studded evening will also feature musical performances from Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, Tori Kelly, Sarah McLachlan, Dolly Parton, Pentatonix, Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood and the Radio City Rockettes, performing current hits and holiday classics. Prior to the primetime telecast, an additional live hour of the special will be broadcast on select NBC stations (7-8 p.m. ET). Check local listings.
