Henry Fong & Vlien Boy Release New Single POP IT OFF Featuring Liza Mercedez

Henry Fong and Vlien Boy join forces on electronic dancehall track "Pop It Off," featuring Lisa Mercedez. The Dim Mak single successfully marries Fong's dancehall-inspired stylings with Vlien Boy's trap and future bass influences, culminating in an upbeat electronic song with a pulsating moombahton edge.

When he isn't igniting dancefloors around the world with his flying dreadlocks, signature dancehall electro tracks, and expertly crafted sets, Henry Fong balances his time between his studio and the beach. His career, bolstered by a production rampage infused with his characteristic energy, has resulted in multiple Beatport Top 10s and tracks on OWSLA, Mad Decent, Revealed, Spinnin', and Musical Freedom amongst others. As Henry pushes to curate a collection of sounds beyond the traditional dance music mold-evidenced by the success of his remix of Calvin Harris and Rihanna's "This Is What You Came For" and hit singles such as "Badam" with Hardwell-"Pop It Off" is yet another example of how he is injecting his infectious energy into anything he touches. Collaborating with Henry Fong on "Pop It Off" is California-based Vlien Boy(pronounced "Alien Boy"), who has quickly made a name for himself in today's electronic music scene. Drawing influences from artists such as Boaz van de Beatz, Noisia, and Skrillex, the innovative producer skillfully blends genres and has collaborated with the likes of FIGHT CLVB, Stereolize, Peacemakers, and White Gangster. Vlien Boy's boundary-breaking sounds have been played at top festivals around the world, including Ultra Music Festival and EDC, with established artists such as Diplo, Dillon Francis, and Laidback Luke giving him their support.

Jamaican-born, London-based artist Lisa Mercedez lends her vocals on "Pop It Off" to elevate the track to its full moombahton, dancehall potential. In the past, she worked with artists including The Timetakers and DJ SKT, before collaborating with Charley Black, Stylo G, Steff London, Ms Banks, and Preditah across a wide range of genres. Following performances at Meltdown Festival, V Festival, and Bestival, Lisa will be on stage again in July at Wireless Festival in London.
