California Roots Music & Arts Festival Announces Final Lineup of Artists

The 10th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival is proud to announce their final round of artists for their milestone 2019 event. Cali Roots X will take place at the historic Monterey County Fair and Event Center from May 24-26, 2019. Adding to the already stacked lineup is Slightly Stoopid and Friends, Atmosphere, SOJA, Tash Sultana, Citizen Cope, Steel Pulse, The Movement, Jesse Royal, Ballyhoo!, Ocean Alley and For Peace Band.

In less than ten years, Cali Roots has become the leading reggae and roots music festival in the U.S. by bringing like-minded artists from the scene together to showcase music, community, and culture. The event has garnered critical acclaim and coverage from national media outlets including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, Pollstar, and Pitchfork. When many festivals are ending or taking a break, the strong community that Cali Roots built continues to grow with more international attendees and a massive streaming audience worldwide.

"When programming our ten year lineup, I knew I had to deliver the best representation of what embodies the event and couldn't be happier with the results," says festival co-producer Dan Sheehan. He adds, "The music is just the beginning. We are working with our visual artists for fresh art installations and our greening team to bring even more environmental initiatives."

The 2019 festival will also feature a diverse lineup of the best food Monterey has to offer. Between sets, attendees can take in and enjoy pop up performances, DJ sets, and unique art installations. All of these fine details come together to create the Cali Roots experience. Early advance ticket sales will end today at midnight PST with advance GA and Redwood tickets on sale on January 11th at 10am PST. Full artist lineup and day by day breakdown is listed below.
