Bobby Mahoney & The Seventh Son Premieres New Single ROARING TWENTIES With Atwood Magazine

New Jersey alt-punk rockers, Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son have teamed up with Atwood Magazine to premiere their new single "Roaring Twenties" off of their forthcoming self-titled album, due out March 23, 2018. The new track is available to listen to HERE.

On the track, lead vocalist Bobby Mahoney shares, "I've always been a Gatsby fan, and a fan of the roaring twenties, flapper culture. The song is about hoping that tomorrow can be better than today, or yesterday. People romanticize that time period, and I know a lot of people in my generation are banking on the 2020's to be awesome because the last few years haven't been so hot. Many of us are deep in college debt, or looking for jobs, or struggling in some other way and we just need to stay positive and work hard towards making tomorrow better. It's also a song about learning from the past- we all could be doing better with that."

Founded in 2010 under just the name "Seventh Son," the band was originally intended for a single show, but they quickly caught on locally and began playing the New Jersey rock circuit. After the release of their first EP and undergoing some lineup changes, the band rebranded as Bobby Mahoney & the Seventh Son in 2014. Since then, the band has released three full-length studio albums, and have shared the stage with notable bands such as The Gaslight Anthem, Pity Sex and Pianos Become the Teeth.
