First Time Fest and Tribeca Film Institute present a special "First Exposure" benefit screening of Robert De Niro's acclaimed directorial debut, A Bronx Tale, on Monday, February 24th, at the Village East Cinema (189 2nd Avenue at 12th Street). Influential figures from the film and entertainment world will gather in NYC to celebrate first-time filmmakers with this thrilling 20th Anniversary retrospective screening.

The evening starts with an intimate cocktail reception where Robert De Niro, Chazz Paminteri and Tony Bennett are scheduled to attend, followed by the screening and an exclusive conversation with De Niro and Palminteri.

Proceeds from the event benefit First Time Fest and Tribeca Film Institute.

First Time Fest is a unique film festival, which debuted in 2013 in New York City, celebrating first-time feature films and showcasing the first films of established filmmakers! FTF s a contest, a film festival and a filmmaking showcase with a Grand Prize of theatrical distribution and international sales representation. Aimed at discovering and providing exposure for the next generation of great filmmakers from around the world, FTF is a five-day event showcasing new and exciting first films from new filmmakers and the debut works of prominent filmmakers, all in an intimate, New York City setting. FTF provides audiences with an unprecedented interactive experience with veteran and novice talent.

The Second Time Around for First Time Fest is set for April 3 - 7, 2014, at FTF's new home, NeueHouse (110 East 25th St.). NeueHouse will be the location for panels, workshops, selected film presentations, parties and filmmaker lounge.

Tribeca Film Institute champions storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. Through grants and professional development programs, TFI supports a diverse, exceptional group of ?lmmakers and media artists, providing them resources needed to fully realize their stories and connect with audiences. The Institute's educational programming leverages an extensive film community network to help underserved New York City students learn filmmaking and gain the media skills necessary to be productive citizens and creative individuals in the 21st century. Featuring hands-on training and exposure to socially relevant ?lms, the Institute administers programs to more than 25,000 students annually. Tickets for the First Time Fest and Tribeca Film Institute special "First Exposure" benefit screening of Robert De Niro's acclaimed directorial debut, A Bronx Tale, on Monday, February 24th, at the Village East Cinema are: $250 ticket which includes a general admission ticket to the screening and conversation, and a $500 ticket which includes a ticket to the private reception and a ticket in reserved seating area for the screening and conversation.
