Jesse Eisenberg and Shia LaBeouf were originally set to star in the film but had to exit due to scheduling conflicts.

ARMS AND THE DUDES, written by Jason Smilovic, based on a Rolling Stone article by Guy Lawson, follows "the two unlikely arms dealers who got a $300 million contract to supply weapons for U.S. allies in Afghanistan. They soon found themselves in danger abroad and in trouble back home because they were completely out of their depth."

Hill last appeared on the big screen in 22 Jump Street, The Wolf of Wall Street, This Is the End and more. His upcoming projects include 23 Jump Street, True Story and Hail, Caesar! Among his past credits are Moneyball, The Invention of Lying, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad and more.
