Hugh Jackman may now be wrapping up his adventure as Jean Valjean, but he's just getting back into the swing of the adamantium claws as Wolverine. The stage and screen actor recently sat down with Parade magazine to talk about LES MISERALES and his upcoming film THE WOLVERINE.

Parade pushed for a scoop, and Jackman said: "You want to get me into trouble, don't you? [laughs] Okay, the movie takes place after X-Men: The Last Stand. My character is at his lowest. He is supposed to be able to heal himself, but he may encounter someone who has worked out a way to really hurt him. And there is a cameo from one of the past X-Men in it."

The film is set to hit theaters domestically on July 26, 2013.

The X-Men spinoff, THE WOLVERINE, is directed by James Mangold and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.

Based on Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's 1982 Wolverine miniseries, the film follows Logan's troubled adventures in modern-day Japan. There he is forced to confront not only a deadly enemy, but the terrible truth of his own mortality.
