After more than one million votes were cast internationally, Game of Thrones darling Emilia Clarke was voted No. 1 on AskMen's Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2014. The 13th edition of the Top 99 poll called on readers to elect women who most closely match their ideals, voting on more than just sex appeal and taking into account other criteria such as character, talent and potential for 2014.

Rounding out this year's top five are Community's Alison Brie (No. 2), "Blurred Lines" music video model Emily Ratajkowski (No. 3), last year's Oscar-winning No. 1 Jennifer Lawrence (No. 4) and Harry Potter's Emma Watson (No. 5). After a very eventful year, Miley Cyrus was featured on the list for the first time ever -- at No. 99.

"AskMen readers are big television fans -- the proof is the 27 current and former TV stars that they voted to this year's list. Emilia Clarke being crowned Khaleesi of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2014 is attributable to the strength and character she portrays onscreen, as well as the popularity of HBO's Game of Thrones," commented James Bassil, Publisher of AskMen.

"The final Top 99 list is the product of both reader and staff votes, but if it were up to the staff alone I don't think we'd be seeing Miley Cyrus on it. AskMen reader votes secured her a spot, but we remain skeptical about some of her recent behavior," added Mr. Bassil. "We'll see what 2014 brings. But at the moment No. 99 seems to be the right spot for her."

Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2014 - Additional Key Highlights:

Desirable Newcomers: Sixty-five women made their debut on the Top 99 Most Desirable Women list this year, including Brie (No. 2), Ratajkowski (No. 3) and Wolf of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie (No. 9).

Coveted Olympians: Olympians are hot and coveted this year! Men are impressed by their character and discipline, their drive to compete -- and their healthy figures. Lolo Jones (#15) and Hannah Teter (92), currently in Sochi are featured on this year's list, along with Summer Olympians Alex Morgan (#45) and Hope Solo (#78).

The Reign of the TV Starlet: AskMen's readers are clearly fans of HBO's Game of Thrones, electing Clarke's costars Oona Chaplin (No. 43) and Rose Leslie (No. 61) to the 2014 list as well. Additional TV favorites who secured a spot include 2 Broke Girls' Kat Dennings (No. 12), New Girl's Zooey Deschanel (No. 17), Orange Is the New Black's Taylor Schilling (No. 38), Modern Family's Sofia Vergara (No. 40), as well as a troika of leading ladies from Parks and Recreation (Amy Poehler at No. 23, Rashida Jones at No. 52 and Aubrey Plaza at No. 72).

The Year of the Comeback: For several ladies, 2014 is the year of the comeback - and AskMen readers took note. Watson went from No. 29 on last year's list to No. 5 this year. Likewise, Kerry Washington undoubtedly secured her positioning as a superstar and fan favorite this year, jumping from No. 46 last year to No. 7 this year. Other honorable mentions include: Kate Moss, who went from No. 95 to No. 10; Beyonce, who moved up from No. 32 to No. 11, Kat Dennings, who jumped from No. 57 to No. 12, and Kim Kardashian, who shimmied her way from No. 98 to No. 87. Also, Kate Winslet (No. 91) made it back onto the list after being left off the previous list.

Major Drops and Notable Omissions: Other women did not fare as well. Perhaps men were feeling a little jealous now that Mila Kunis is happily in love -- she fell from No. 2 last year to No. 26 on this year's list. Likewise, Rihanna went from No. 4 to No. 19 and Miranda Kerr from No. 6 to No. 46 in 2014. Notable omissions include last year's top 10 finalists Kristen Stewart, Michelle Jenneke and Jessica Pare, as well as sexy Hollywood staples Blake Lively, Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Lopez, Megan Fox, Jessica Alba or Gisele Bündchen.

Celebrity Offspring Out of the Shadow: Celebrity offspring are getting their own footing in the Hollywood scene - Georgia May Jagger (No. 42), Oona Chaplin (No. 43) Dakota Johnson (No. 49), Lily Collins (No. 50), Rashida Jones (No. 52), Allison Williams (No. 54), Paulina Gretzky (No. 59) and Miley Cyrus (No. 99). Dylan Penn, daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright, is No. 93 on this year's list... two spaces ahead of her mom, who's No. 95.

Top 99 by the Numbers: 47 actresses, 7 athletes, 1 businesswoman, 10 music artists, 24 involved in fashion, 24 moms, 2 pregnant finalists, 4 comediennes, 22 changing the world by using their celebrity for good use and being philanthropic.
