Have you ever wanted to be a spontaneous thinker, to think on your feet, to develop team building skills and to have fun while learning valuable acting techniques? Introducing Windham Theatre Guild's Improv Group. Workshops will be held every other Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm at the First Congregational Church located at 199 Valley Street in Willimantic.

A typical workshop will consist of a warm up and lesson, that will be followed by putting that lesson into practice. The following techniques will vary and be used in the activities and sketches: silent/verbal, solo/teamwork, and comedic/dramatic. The sky is the limit when you let your creativity flow.

Sessions will be held June 30, July 14, July 28, August 11, August 25 and every other Tuesday after that at 7 pm. You can join at any time and come and go as your schedule allows so come on out and give it a try. No commitment is necessary for your first three workshops, (after which membership dues for the WTG will be required).
