New Comedy Channel to Launch on SiriusXM: Just For Laughs Radio Premieres Thursday, September 26

Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) announced today the upcoming launch of its newest 24/7-comedy channel, Just For Laughs Radio.The channel will feature over 30 years of stand-up comedy drawn from the comedy archives of the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, including the work of established comedians, new faces, international superstars, and stand-up from comedians before they were stars.

The Montreal festival is billed as the world's largest and most prestigious comedy event, welcoming more than 1.25 million people every summer. The Festival's vast comedy archives include performances from Bill Burr, Greg Giraldo, Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Kevin Hart, Mitch Hedberg, AZIZ ANSARI, Russell Peters, among other comedic talents.

The channel premieres Thursday, September 26 via satelliteon channel 403 on new SiriusXM radios and in select vehicles.Just For Laughs Radio is a part of the recently expanded lineup of SiriusXM channels made available through the company's newest technology that delivers greater satellite bandwidth while maintaining the broadcast quality of SiriusXM's satellite channels.Just For Laughs Radio will also be available to listenersthrough the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online atsiriusxm.com.

SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy, channel 99, will begin airing a daily hour-long show featuring the hottest performances drawn from Just For Laughs Radio, Mondays through Fridays at 9:00 pm ET.

Throughout the year, Just For Laughs Radio will periodically simulcast on Raw Dog Comedy coinciding with special Just For Laughs events in different cities. Just For Laughs Radio channel will simulcast on Raw Dog Comedy for four days starting September 26 from 12:00 pm ET through 6:00 pm ET September 29, coinciding with JFL42 inToronto. Just For Laughs Radio will later simulcast over Raw Dog Comedy for the Just For Laughs at the Sydney Opera House October 18 through October 20. The simulcasts of Just For Laughs Radio will include exclusive live interview broadcasts of panel discussions, performances, and presentations from the Just For Laughs events.
