NBC Sports Coverage of 2015 VERIZON INDYCAR Series Continues 6/27

NBCSN continues its extensive coverage of the 2015 Verizon INDYCAR Series this weekend at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., with live coverage of the MavTV 500 on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

This week's motorsports action on NBCSN also features 12 hours of coverage from Mecum Auctions' inaugural event in Denver, Colo., beginning Friday at 2 p.m. ET, as well as coverage of the Lucas Oil Pro MOTOCROSS Championship at the Budds Creek National on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Live Extra - NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets - will provide comprehensive streaming coverage of this week's IndyCar, Mecum Auctions and Lucas Oil Pro MOTOCROSS events on NBCSN.

INDYCAR MavTV 500 - SATURDAY AT 4 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

American Josef Newgarden (CFH Racing) looks to build on his win two weeks ago at the Honda Indy Toronto, where he earned his second victory of the 2015 season and led CFH Racing to a 1-2 result, as teammate Luca Filippi earned a second-place finish. Juan Pablo Montoya (Team Penske) continues to lead the drivers' standings with 374 points, followed by teammate Will Power (347) points, who boasts five poles in nine races. Montoya has won four of his nine career 500-mile races in IndyCar, including this year's Indianapolis 500. Last year, Tony Kanaan (Chip Ganassi Racing) took the checkered flag at the MavTV 500, which served as the INDYCAR season finale.

This weekend's NBCSN INDYCAR coverage begins on Friday at midnight ET with qualifying. NBCSN's presentation continues on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET with live race coverage. NBC Sports Group's lead INDYCAR play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey will call the MavTV 500, alongside analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett, and analyst and former driver Paul Tracy. Robin Miller, Jon Beekhuis, Kevin Lee and Kelli Stavast will handle pit reporting duties.

MECUM AUCTIONS: DENVER - COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 2:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBCSN presents 12 hours of Mecum Auctions coverage from the auction company's inaugural event in Denver, Colo., this week, beginning on Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET. Main attractions from this week's event which will feature over 700 vehicles include a 1969 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air IV and a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible.

Mecum Auctions coverage from Denver continues on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, leading into the INDYCAR MavTV 500, and concludes with five straight hours of action on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group's Mecum Auctions telecast team of Scott Hoke, John Kraman, Stephen Cox, and reporter Bill Stephens will call the action from the Colorado Convention Center.

LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL - SATURDAY AT 9 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra will present six hours of Lucas Oil Pro MOTOCROSS Championship coverage this weekend from Budds Creek National in Maryland, in the sixth round of the 12-race championship series. Ken Roczen earned his first overall win of the season in the 450 Class last week at High Point National, while Marvin Musquin swept both motos in the 250 Class for his second win of the season, passing Jeremy Martin to take the lead in the 250 Class points standings.

Coverage begins on NBC Sports Live Extra with practice at 10:30 a.m. ET, followed by pre-race coverage on Live Extra at noon ET. Coverage of Moto 1's begins on MavTV at 1 p.m. ET, followed by Moto 2's on NBC Sports Live Extra at 3 p.m. ET. NBCSN will present coverage of Moto 2's at 9 p.m. ET.

Veteran play-by-play voice Jason Weigandt, analyst and two-time AMA Pro MOTOCROSS Champion Grant Langston, and pit reporter Georgia LINDSAY will call the action from Budds Creek MOTOCROSS Park in Mechanicsville, Md.

NASCAR K&N PRO SERIES EAST VISIT HAMPTON VA 175 - THURSDAY AT 5:30 P.M. ET

NBCSN continues its coverage of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East this week with a presentation of the Visit Hampton VA 175 on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. ET. William Byron entered the race as the series leader in points ahead of Kyle Benjamin, with two wins under his belt already this season.

Dave Burns (play-by-play), Parker Kligerman (analyst) and Jason Weigandt (analyst) call the action from Langley Speedway in Hampton, Va.
