Award-winning filmmaker, author, and comedian Mike Birbiglia returns to the stage with more painfully awkward stories of telling jokes and how that can get you in trouble. Join Birbiglia as he visits Cats-a-chusetts, argues with someone about their nut allergy, hosts an awards show for angry celebrities, and learns that Fozzie Bear is a tough act to follow.

Tickets are on sale online at whartoncenter.com, the Auto-Owners Ticket Office at Wharton Center or by calling 1-800-WHARTON.

Ira Glass of public radio's This American Life writes "Birbiglia's stories are even funnier live than they are on the radio." Time Magazine calls Birbiglia "master of the personal, embarrassing tale." The New York Times describes him as a "supremely enjoyable monologist."

Mike Birbiglia was last at Wharton Center in February 2012. The comedian will return tonight, January 16, 2014 7:30 p.m. at Cobb Great Hall. Tickets: $35.00, plus applicable fees; $22.00 student tickets available (capped at 500). Ticket Office: whartoncenter.com, 517.432.2000 or 1.800.WHARTON.
