Comedian Sean Patton to Replace Brian Posehn at Comix at Foxwoods, 10/17-19

Comedian on the rise, Sean Patton, will take over the stand-up duties all weekend long, beginning on Thursday, Oct. 17. In place of the originally scheduled Brian Posehn, Patton will take the stage nightly at 8 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 19, followed by a special 'nasty'-themed show to end the weekend. Posehn will instead take the stage from Thursday, Jan. 23 to Saturday, Jan. 25.

Currently based in New York and Los Angeles, Patton originally hails from New Orleans, where he cut his teeth doing stand-up in the Crescent city. Patton has since performed at some of the top venues around, including Caroline's, The Comedy Cellar, Gotham and The Improv, as well as UCBNY and UCBLA. His basic cable debut came on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham in 2009, followed by his network television debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in 2010 and a recent appearance on Conan in 2011. He has also hit the comedy festival circuit, with appearances at The Melbourne International Festival (2011) and the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival (2008, 2010), in addition to many other clubs around the U.S. and Canada.

Existing ticket holders for Posehn's shows will be contacted with an option of applying them to Patton's shows or receiving a refund.This weekend of shows remains for mature audiences with a two drink minimum and is 21+ only.

The shows are set for Thursday, October 17 - Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 19 at 10:30 p.m. 'Nasty' show at Comix At Foxwoods, 350 Trolley Line Boulevard, Mashantucket, Conn.
