Please join the 120-voice Colorado Springs Chorale as we celebrate the diversity of great American choral music from the 20th and 21st centuries. Selections range from fun and light-hearted offerings by Norman Dello Joio and Eric Whitacre, to the timeless poetry of Robert Frost as set in Randall Thompson's Frostiana, and the ethereal beauty of Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms.

This season has been a transition year for the Chorale following the retirement at the end of last season of long-time director Donald Jenkins. Interim Conductor Daniel S. Brink has led the Chorale with a sense of excellence, a lively rehearsal style, and a lot of fun as he prepared the Chorale for a busy season which included two of their own concerts, two collaborative events, and two guest performances with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. For Breath of Spring, Brink will share the podium with incoming conductor Deborah Jenkins Teske in her directing debut with the Chorale. Assistant Conductor Kimberley Schultz will also conduct the Chorale in several selections.

The Chorale is pleased to welcome Max Lochow as our boy soprano soloist for the Chichester Psalms. A Bavarian born native, 13-year old Max moved to Colorado at the age of 4 with his family. Currently, Max attends 8th grade at Cheyenne Mountain Junior High. He has been an enthusiastic singer with the youth choirs at Grace and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church since he was 5 years old and he also enjoys playing the piano and the bass clarinet. Max is excited about singing with the Colorado Springs Chorale.
