CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, posted year-to-year audience gains, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 11. CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.20 million viewers (up +7% from 4.85m the same week a year ago) and a 1.0/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Broadcast year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program with viewers (5.94m) and adults 25-54 (1.2/07).

Jane Pauley anchored Sunday's broadcast, which featured Jim Axelrod's report on the true story of a Long Island lobsterman who fell overboard 40 miles from shore and his harrowing tale of survival. The broadcast included Anthony Mason's interview with pop star Lorde; Mo Rocca's profile of Broadway legend Tommy Tune; Nancy Giles' interview with the women who have played Annie on Broadway and the enduring draw of "Annie" as a production nationwide; Rita Braver's look at the impact and history of the Yale Repertory Theatre; Faith Salie's exploration of the surprising history and appeal of Wonder Woman; Jim Gaffigan's essay on massages; artist Elise Engler's look at her project of painting reproductions of every block of Broadway in Manhattan using colored pencils and watercolors; and Steve Hartman's report on a young boy who travels to cemeteries to ensure veterans' graves have flags.
