Guest Conductor Nicholas McGegan to Lead CSO's BAROQUE FESTIVAL

The internationally revered Baroque-era master Nicholas McGegan conducts a superlative banquet of eighteenth-century delights featuring CSO Concert Master Jean-Sébastien Roy and CSO flutists Randall Hester and Genevieve Briggs. The menu includes three great works associated with London, including Haydn's final symphony, plus Bach's enchanting Brandenburg Concerto No. 4.

The full program will include Handel's Water Music, Suite No. 1 in F Major, Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 4, Boyce's Symphony No. 1 in B Flat Major, and Haydn's Symphony No. 104 ("London").

The Columbus Symphony presents Baroque Festival at the Southern Theatre (21 E. Main St.) on Thursday, October 16, at 7:30pm; Friday, October 17, at 8pm; and Saturday, October 18, at 8pm. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com.
