On April 9th, 2014, the annual concert and presentation of the Musical Olympus Festival will take place at Carnegie Hall. Eight years in a row young talented musicians, participants of the Musical Olympus Festival and winners of prestigious international competitions, perform on this legendary stage.

This year the sophisticated New York audience will see on stage Mark Bushkov (Belgium, violin), Grand Prix winner of the Montreal International Musical Competition (Canada, 2012); Remi Geniet (France, piano), winner of the Queen Elizabeth Competition (Belgium, 2013); Igor Eliseev (Russia, double bass), winner of the Koussevitzky International Double Bass Competition (Russia, 2011); Nathalie Mittelbach (Switzerland, mezzosoprano), first prize, the Ernst Haefliger International Singing Competition (Switzerland, 2012), and Vassilena Serafimova (Bulgaria, percussion), winner of the TROMP International Percussion Competition (Netherlands, 2010).

Irina Nikitina, President of the Musical Olympus Foundation: "The marvelous concert in New York is traditionally supported by the World Public Forum "Dialogue of Civilizations". The participants of the Musical Olympus Foundation are welcome on many stages of the world, but one of our favourite concert venues is of course Carnegie Hall. Performing here is always a special occasion and a great milestone for our musicians on their way towards the musical Olympus".

In its concerts the Musical Olympus Foundation aims to present to the audience different musical styles and various musical instruments. On April, 9 the audience at Carnegie Hall will hear the works by G.Bottesini, ?.Bruch, J.Brahms, J.Haydn, S.Rachmaninov, G.Bizet, ?.Ravel, I.Xenakis and D.Cheung.

Concerts of the Musical Olympus Festival at Carnegie Hall are organized with the support of the World Public Forum "Dialogue of Civilizations" (www.wpfdc.com). Annual concerts in New York help achieve one of the global objectives of the Musical Olympus Foundation: to establish and develop intercultural dialogue through music as a universal language. The Foundations' achievements in this area have been distinguished at the international level - in January 2013 the Foundation was honored with the Silver Archer Award (US), a prestigious public relations trophy.
