'Breaking the Chains' by William Blake follows the journey of Ken, a political leader in the making and his exposure to betrayals of trust, corruption, and moral bankruptcy. Subplots delve into the lives of the haves and have-nots, an uncompromising underworld and a litany of unscrupulous gain at others' expense. Despite the harsh realities presented, recurring themes of reconciliation and victory show that behind each crisis may lay a pathway to renewal.

William has been working towards publication after witnessing firsthand the effects of unabashed corruption, moral bankruptcy, conspiracy and the very worst humanity has to offer while at the same time witnessing the transformation of those who find a pathway to renewal.

'Breaking the Chains' is the pinnacle of many years of research, personal experience and a passion to tell a good story that the reader can relate to.

William's motivation for the novel, was to provide a challenge to the reader, confronting the very fabric of modern society and how each character contemplates the ever-changing landscape of their own existence whilst addressing the sins of their past.
