About the Author
Born and raised in Korea, Walter Jung earned his master's and doctoral degrees in the United States. He taught geography classes at a public university for over 20 years. After serving as a children's advocate and a volunteer for the US Peace Corps in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, he has resumed teaching as a professor emeritus. He lives with his wife, Young, in a quiet corner of the Great Plains. His joy and pride, Spence and Blake, his grandchildren, live nearby.
