NIXA, Mo. - According to author Alan Curtiss Stoltz, the Bible, the sacred book that contains the word of God, is much maligned in today's culture. "Twelve Gates: Twelve Pearls" (published by Xlibris) is Stoltz way of fulfilling the great commission to write about spreading the actual gospel to the people.

"Twelve Gates: Twelve Pearls" was written to help people gain understanding about the Bible. It discusses the sacred texts or scriptures of Christianity and its true message to the people. It also covers some mysteries of the Bible and breaks down some of the parables that Jesus taught.

According to an article in The Huffington Post, Christianity is dying, specifically in America. It is because there are only a few who attends or affiliates with Christian churches. There are also some who preaches the word of God, but do not practice it. This affirms Stoltz's belief that some of the prophecies of the bible are fulfilled in the present time, where humanity is facing staggering crises of war, disease, pollution, drought and famine. Indeed, Stoltz is convinced that there are over 7 billion people on earth today that need to hear the truth of the gospel.

Stoltz hopes that through his book, the readers will begin to understand the reality of God-Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and heaven or hell. It is also for Christians who seek to have a deeper understanding of the word of God.
