Check out Tina Tumbles, a new inspirational gymnastics picture book for kids ages 3-8. While watching gymnasts flip across the television screen, Tina decides she wants to flip too. But her first headstand takes her from being upside down...to being on the ground. Determined not to give up, Tina tries again and again, but finds that sometimes things are not as easy as they look. At her first gymnastics lesson, will Tina find the confidence she needs to finally land on her feet?

Tina's story is about building self-esteem, motivation, focus, and perseverance - all of the qualities which help kids succeed in reaching their goals, whatever they may be. Young readers will learn about working hard and refusing to quit, no matter how impossible things may seem.

Tina Tumbles also includes a fun picture glossary of basic gymnastics shapes designed by the illustrator-fun for kids who are not yet involved with the sport but want to be, and of course, for those already taking lessons.

Danielle Soucy Mills grew up in Massachusetts in a small city by the sea. Like Tina, she started gymnastics on the furniture in her home. She has since been involved with the sport for over 20 years, as a competitor and as a coach. At Rhode Island College, Danielle exercised both her writing and gymnastic abilities, before moving to California to earn her M.F.A in Creative Writing from Chapman University. About the Illustrator: Kimberly Soderberg is a children's illustrator living in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband, Josh, her two sons, Wyatt and Grady, and her two dogs, Ralphie and Gertie. After graduating from Columbus College of Art & Design with a B.F.A in illustration, her journey to becoming an illustrator in the children's book market began.
