Theresa Philips-Sirawsky, a Christian, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, devoted writer and author, has completed her first novel "Keepers of Golden Dreams": a gripping and potent work that tells a story of sacrifice, dreams, courage and love.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Theresa Philips-Sirawsky's telling work is a heartfelt biography of her family.

"The title for my book, Keepers of Golden Dreams, came to me in a dream. I had been pondering over what to name it for quite some time and couldn't think of anything appropriate. Then one morning, I woke up with a start and there it was, ablaze in my mind," said author Theresa Philips-Sirawsky.

Theresa's parents came to America to create a better life for themselves and the family they hoped to have in the future. Her father came first, and her mother and grandmother came shortly after. The people believed that there was so much wealth in this country that the streets were lined with gold.

While growing up, her mother told them about her life growing up in Slovakia, and Theresa would listen trying to picture how it must have been and how hard it must have been to leave all that they loved for a better life.

When Theresa married her husband, they came directly to New Jersey to live. She was the only daughter who moved away from her mother. She missed her parents and siblings and her life back home. After many years, she began to think about what she missed and realized that her mother had experienced the same emotions. Theresa realized that the future generations should know what her parents went through to leave everything and go to a place where the customs and language were different and with very little money. She wanted the future generations to know the story of their lives, so she began to write about them as they lived their journey.

Readers who wish to experience this profound work can purchase"Keepers of Golden Dreams" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
