Shane Colwell fixated over a photo of a doomed couple facing the onrushing Boxing Day Tsunami, consequently having as existential crisis at the thought of leading an unfulfilled life. Colwell has a PhD in mathematics and has traveled extensively, living in Dublin, Zurich, Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Sakhalin Island and Dubai, putting pen to paper while backpacking around South America for a year.
