Samuel Sbraccia reminisces on his "South Philly Memories" (published by Xlibris) and takes readers on a journey back to another time and place, to relive the author's youth in an idyllic hometown replete with magical memories and heartwarming moments.

For Sbraccia, growing up in South Philly was truly a wonderful and great experience, which he conveys through his book. To him, South Philly is unlike anywhere else, and his memoirs show readers why this is so. He recalls situations and events of a group of friends who grew up in the city during the 1950s and 1960s, the hijinks they encountered and how they handled the situations that popped up during their coming of age.

With his sincere recollections, Sbraccia shows readers that South Philadelphia is a place of living life to the fullest and really appreciating it. He has fond memories of wonderful food, fast cars, beautiful girls, and really good deals for things that supposedly just happened to drop off the backs of trucks - but most importantly, he remembers the love he felt there and how people cared for others and their situations. Home is where the heart is, and for Sbraccia, part of it lies in his "South Philly Memories."
