Arizona-based author, Rico Austin, has agreed with audiobook producer and publisher Brook Forest Voices to have "My Bad Tequila" narrated and released as an audiobook. This semi-autobiographical account of a college spring break gone bad is scheduled for a third quarter 2014 release.

Rico Austin, the oldest of five brothers, was born and raised in Southwestern Idaho amid the fields and vineyards of the Snake River Valley, and is truly a man for all seasons. What else can you say about a guy who attended Boise State University as a walk-on football player, has done stand-up at Boise's former Comedy Club, earned an Associates from BSU, a Bachelors from Grand Canyon State, an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, who taught English as a second language in Vilnius, Lithuania, who started on the American Football Team for the Staffordshire Stallions while attending Staffordshire University in England, and who had a cameo on the television series Baywatch in the role of a drug lord on a huge yacht?

"My Bad Tequila" incorporates one of Rico's most gripping adventures as he travels to Mexico with a group of friends for the rite of passage known as spring break. Told with just the right amount of humor, Rico describes the decisions and events that will change the direction of many of these students' lives, and one student in particular. Teens, high school students, collegiates, and adults will all find this an entertaining and informative audiobook. "My Bad Tequila" has received numerous awards including, #1 Book to Read, June 2011 by the NY Professional Reviewer, Fran Lewis, Arizona Authors Association - 3rd Place (Fiction Book of the Year 2011 - 2012), and New Mexico - Arizona Book Awards - Finalist (Fiction - Mystery genre 2012).
