In the Province of Ontario, Canada lies a small hamlet named Bognor. It is situated in an idyllic setting amongst the hills a short distance from Owen Sound on the shores of Georgian Bay leading into Lake Huron.

"The Bognor Chronicles" written by author Ray Johnson brings back all the nostalgia he has living in Bognor. In this book, he talks about his family, friends, school days, and his boyhood haunts.

Here, Johnson reminisces what Bognor is all about, the life he lived and the experiences he will forever cherish for the rest of his life. He takes readers back in time recalling memories he has from babyhood to manhood in the village. He vividly remembers the sawmill, the gristmill, the old Bognor Hall, the new community centre, as well as the blacksmith shop. He also recalls the different churches in the area, the public school he attended, and the different characters that made the town more vibrant and colourful as ever.

There are so many things one has to discover and experience in Bognor and author Ray Johnson was one lucky man to have lived in this beautiful hamlet. "The Bognor Chronicles" takes readers on a nostalgic trip back in time when living is simpler in a rural setting. And for those who have yet to explore this wonderful place, this one-of-a- kind journey narrated through an interesting account of someone who truly comes from a rural Ontario village is something readers will surely enjoy.
