Rahmat Mazaheri Seif, M.D., the author of "The Tongue of the Unseen," a book on the 14th century Persian poet, Hafez, with translations of some of his sonnets and former film critic, has completed his new book "The Many Faces of Jesus". Seif has exegetically dissected the four Canonical and several apocryphal Gospels in search of a clear vision of Jesus.

"(The Many Faces of Jesus) is the fruit of about eight years of hard work and is assiduously researched among the writings of the ante and post-Nicene fathers of the church," Seif said.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Seif has produced fresh arguments that have effectively refuted the idea that the truth of the divinity of Jesus on the basis of virginal birth and his miracles. His unprecedented conversational treatment of the incomprehensible doctrine of the Trinity is interesting and revealing.

He has found the incomplete birth of the doctrine in the writings of one of the early fathers of the church in the second century, and has followed its gradual development by the successive fathers of the next couple of centuries, to what it is today. In the meantime, in every step of the way, he convincingly demonstrates the doctrine is untenable.

Readers who wish to experience this thoughtful and engaging work can purchase "The Many Faces of Jesus" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
