REBECCA'S SOLILOQUY Offers Journey of Love During Civil War

Rebecca Moffat found a wounded Union officer on her family's farm and nursed him back to health. This set into motion a series of events that would result in her making a journey of over 250 miles to bring her husband, a wounded Confederate officer, back home from a prison camp.

This true story is retold in the form of letters in author Roberta Nee Adams' new book, "Rebecca's Soliloquy". This story has been passed down five generations of her family, and is now immortalized in print.

"Rebecca's story captivated me from the time my late mother-in-law first told it to me," Adams said. "I knew from the time I first heard it that I wanted to do Rebecca's story justice."
