"We all know we can look to a dictionary for definitions of the words 'quality' and 'good,' but today their meaning has become muddied through subjectivity. Can a truly objective definition of quality be found and apply it to know how much good is people's everyday life in an economic system?" Quality control engineer Spiro V. Haxhi has worked with this ideas in mind for over 40 years.

He finally has come up with objective definition of the mysterious concepts of quality, good, wellbeing, general welfare and how they can be applied by any government and business leaders to fundamentally change their governing philosophies. His new book, "Quality and General Welfare Codification" (published by Xlibris), is the accumulation of his research and discoveries.

"As individual we govern our self empirically by quantifying quality or goodness in life. The government and business leaders govern the people by measuring value (GDP) and profit. This contradiction is the source of all humanity and nature crises in the world. Shifting from measuring value and profit, to measuring quality and wellbeing is a paradigm shift in governing and improving people's life," Haxhi said.

"Quality and General Welfare Codification" aims to educate government and business leaders, academia, teachers and general people know rationally that individual's goal in life is to live it with maximum quality. Good and general welfare must become true measures for individuals and people's success in life and business, rather than many. "Quality and General Welfare Codification"
