Phil Cousineau and Jeff Dowd Launch Burning the Midnight Oil During California Book Tour

Phil Cousineau, author of the newly released Burning the Midnight Oil: Illuminating Words for the Long Night's Journey into Day, will be appearing with forewordist Jeff Dowd, the real life inspiration for The Big Lebowski, at events in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area in the next week.

Phil Cousineau and Jeff Dowd will be reading at Book Soup in Los Angeles on December 13th at 7pm. They will then journey north and read at The Book Passage, Marin on December 18th at 7pm.

Burning the Midnight Oil is an eclectic and electric collection of soulful poems and prose from great thinkers through the ages. As author and curator Phil Cousineau explains in the introduction to his nocturne, "There is a light that we can find only in the dark...that brings about new thoughts and ideas."
