Paul Wagaman Releases BRIAN'S SEARCH

A historical western novel, "Brian's Search" tells the story of a heroic young man who risks everything to find his lost brother.

"Inspired by a true story, Brian's journey encompasses hundreds of miles of open and dangerous country in Arizona and Southern Utah," author Paul Wagaman said. "Along the way, the people he meets and the obstacles he faces forever change his life and the lives of those he cares about."

A fact-based, coming-of-age novel, "Brian's Search" contains descriptions of events in Wagaman's own extended family, detailing the real-life hardships of early pioneers in the Old West. Wagaman's novel covers issues associated with good character, the appreciation for family relationships and the consequences that follow life's choices.

"As Brian begins the search for his brother, he stumbles upon an injured Apache warrior," Wagaman said. "In spite of what Indians did to his family, Brian interrupts his quest to nurse the Indian back to health. This act of compassion demonstrates Brian's good character and moral values."
