QUEENSLAND, Australia - History has been dotted with dominant races that accomplished great things from setting up powerful empires, invading lands, discovering science and technology, innovating medicines and providing the standard for a stable society. Author Patrick Tapinou pens an informative book about the Greek history and civilization with his new publication, The History of Romeos, (Elliniki), (Greek); Technological, Military, Social and Political Development and Advancement.

This book covers the millennia from when the proto-Greeks are believed to have first migrated into the Balkan Peninsula and the Mycenaean Period and into the Greek Dark Age. It then moves into the Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic Greek periods, touching upon the Greeks under Roman rule and the Roman Empire.

It picks up towards the end of the Western Roman Empire and the period of change in the Eastern Roman Empire under Justinian the Great that lead to the development of the Byzantine Empire. It finishes off with the Byzantine Greek Imperial era and the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks and proceeds to the final annexation of the Byzantine Empire of Trebizond by the Ottomans in AD 1461 on the 14th of August

The History of Romeos, (Elliniki), (Greek); Technological, Military, Social and Political Development and Advancement will appeal to readers who are interested in history as other Greek history books only cover specific era. They will find that history holds lessons where they can learn from the mistakes of the past civilizations. Educational and very insightful, this book will give them a clearer understanding and knowledge of how the Greeks lived and fought during the ancient and medieval times.

About the Author
Patrick Christos Tapinou is an Australian man of Greek Cypriot origin. He was born on May 31, 1990 in the small Australian city of Ipswich in the state of Queensland, just West of Brisbane City and the capital of Queensland State. He lived most of his life in Brisbane City. From a young age, he had a keen interest for everything historical and military or warfare orientated and studied history very enthusiastically throughout school. He spent much time reading in his spare time. It is quite common for Greeks in Australia to own takeaways, fish and chip shops and restaurants. His family was no exception to this as his parents run fish and chip shops for much of their adult lives in this country. Since about 2011, he has been writing in his spare time and this grew into his writing this fully fledged book on Greek history.
