Teacher Pat Kozyra is now acting upon the many requests from family, friends, and colleagues that she write a book about her half century in the teaching profession. About the Author: First-time author Pat Kozyra was born, raised, and educated in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She and her husband Taras, also an educator, moved to Hong Kong 12 years ago for a two-year teaching stint and have been there ever since. They have two married daughters, Tara and Tana, who have each blessed them with three grandchildren. The author has had both amateur and professional singing experience, and music has played a major role in her teaching. She continues her role as church soloist each week in Hong Kong, and is proud of her certificates in public speaking from Toastmasters International.
