A new specie of intrigue languorously uncoils itself from out of the complex sonata of the de Wardin sisters' new The Humming Bird Book 2. In this Comedy Fantasy Fiction subtitled Symphonic Destruction, more adventures, characters, twists and hilarious moments wait for Maria Langford and her cohort of misfits as they come to defy Vokia's new system now favoring forceful power and death over democracy.

With this new dictator and his tap-dancing army and police, things smoothly go out of hand in Voskia; manipulation, madness, death and destruction. Yet, the edge of tenderness survives as our erstwhile heroine finds a heat-seeker of a love affair with a wild gypsy violinist usurper and abandons a rich, voracious and hilarious sexagenarian tycoon who avidly yearns for her hand in marriage.

With songs and poems populating the work, The Humming Bird Book 2 is a flavorful, effortlessly spiced story of the future where the hoarily sinful past reincarnates itself and makes bedfellows of several paradoxes and ironies which makes the novel pop along with orchestral thunder and string. Charlotte Hubert says, "The world the authors create is exaggerated and because of that exaggeration there is a lot of humour. I was laughing out loud, really. It's a very exciting read!" The Clarion Review says of the de Wardin sisters' effort, "For readers of the Humming Bird, the greatest reward comes not through any final resolution, but in the promise of a sequel."
