New Novel Reveals Truth of Surviving Rape and Healing from Trauma

Provenance of Bondage is the first installment in Kyrian Lyndon's Deadly Veils series and offers multi-themed stories with intriguing characters, authentic dialogue, and humor. It's not your typical rape story. It focuses on the aftermath with a special emphasis on the psychological bondage that trauma creates, including codependency and shame-induced narcissism.

In fact, there is so much they don't understand, and while I am not telling my own story in this book, I provided a realistic account of what happens. Kyrian Lyndon is a rape and trauma survivor with twenty years of recovery from substance abuse. She was born in Woodside, Queens, New York, the middle of three daughters born to immigrants-her father from Campochiaro, Italy; her mother from Havana, Cuba. Kyrian began writing short stories and fairy tales when she was just eight years old. She has worked primarily in executive-level administrative positions with major New York publishing companies.
