Depression, disappointments, divorce, and deliverance - all of these were experienced by author Marilyn Morehouse. In her new memoir, "These Are Not the Same Tears" (published by Xlibris), she lets readers into her journey. Her story is one of hardship but filled with hope that allows readers to discover how she battled the many obstacles in her life.

Morehouse had to "faith it till she made it." She uses her life as the vehicle to get those dealing with depression, abuse and divorce over to a place where they can move forward in God. She shows her readers that there is life after it all and that she is a witness to this. According to her, God did not want her to take her journey personally; this was bigger than her as her pain was for a purpose and she was handpicked for the journey. She recounts her mountaintop-high and valley-low experiences, which were not for her but for someone else. She believes that God knew the plans he had for her life, and it included a platform for people who feel like they cannot persevere.

"As women, we put on masks and we pretend real good, but we are no good for anybody walking dead! Walking dead and empty just to say we have a man, a marriage, and a materialistic life. When you read her book, you will see that in the midst of the storm, God propped her up and pushed her through. If God did it for her, he will do it for you, because he has no respect of persons," Morehouse proclaims. "Just read it because God got the glory, but now she is telling her story. Not to demean anyone in my book but to help deliver everyone she encounters who is battling with what life dealt them: a hand that seems to be the losing hand."
