New Children's Book, THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MR. WONDER is Released

Dr. Joyce's "The Wonderful World of Mr. Walder" (published by Lulu) is a whimsical type of book that is similar to Dr. Seuss' types of stories, but is based on real situations, rather than fanciful ones.

This children's book follows Glenn Walder, a librarian who loves books and wants to learn new things. Mr. Walder realizes his true calling in life is to use that knowledge to help others. In the end, he comes full circle and ends up back where he began.

"I was inspired to write this book because a recent colleague of mine retired from being a librarian and I wanted to honor his weekly visits to my class, when he would read stories to my students with disabilities."

Through this book, the author hopes that the story character will inspire readers. "The Wonderful World of Mr. Walder" gives a sense of enjoyment and appreciation for the life of Mr. Walder and his accomplishments in life. "I think students and adults will be better able to relate to the storyline and setting."
